Atuin keybindings
Atuin replaces your shell history with a SQLite database and provides a full-screen interactive search UI. These are the keyboard shortcuts available within Atuin's search interface.

Enter | Execute the selected command immediately |
Tab | Select item and return to shell for editing before execution |
Ctrl+R | Cycle through filter modes |
Ctrl+S | Cycle through search modes |
Alt+1 to Alt+9 | Select item by its displayed number |
Ctrl+C / Ctrl+D / Ctrl+G / Esc | Exit search and return to shell |
Ctrl+Y | Copy selected item to clipboard |
Ctrl+Left / Alt+B | Move cursor to previous word |
Ctrl+Right / Alt+F | Move cursor to next word |
Ctrl+B / Left | Move cursor one character left |
Ctrl+F / Right | Move cursor one character right |
Ctrl+A / Home | Move cursor to beginning of line |
Ctrl+E / End | Move cursor to end of line |
Ctrl+W | Delete word before cursor |
Ctrl+U | Clear entire line |
Ctrl+Backspace | Delete previous word |
Ctrl+Delete | Delete next word |
Ctrl+N / Ctrl+J / Up | Navigate to next item in results |
Ctrl+P / Ctrl+K / Down | Navigate to previous item in results |
Ctrl+O | Open inspector for selected item |
Page Up / Page Down | Scroll through results page by page |
